I don't mean to speak for Shere, but I think it's a nod to a very peculiar oddity of this region.

2000 census in Reverie was eleven people. :-)

Also, it's in Arkansas because the MS river moves.

Not to be too much of a dork, but I can't help but point out, it is actually IN Tennessee, which is why it is so odd. It is on the West side of the MS River, but inside the TN state line.

Ah, you're right. Apparently the Supreme Court ruled that although the border was defined as the midpoint of the river, changes to the river at that time didn't change the actual border.

Absolutely!! Ole Piss will not be an easy win.
This will be Ole Miss' superbowl. They will brag all year if they pull a fluke upset.

Our guys should be ready to get up early and extend the lead.. remember last time we got down 14 points before we even sat down....no reason to give the little bears any glory.

I hadn't even entered that jam packed gate when they scored the first one. Was at seat for second. old mrs feller behind us went crazy. I told him it was just 2 TDs in first quarter. He left at our first TD never to return

was this the game where i dropped $100 on beer since you bought my ticket?

and our NW friend brought treats thru airport customs?

I ended up in the ER for a week right after that game.

They were great treats and seats.

He did absolutely nothing in two seasons with primo Freeze-bought talent.

I hope he stays in Oxford forever.

I dunno. Old Miss has been 4-12 in the SEC. The only teams with worse records are UTK and Arkinsaw.

At the same time, they've had 10 guys drafted by the NFL. The only teams with more picks are Bama and UGA.

They have wasted some high-level talent the last 2 years. Now they have replaced some, but depth will probably take it's toll the next couple years.

It won't be an easy game - never is. But we should be favored. And I agree, I hope Luke is there forever. Although I suspect he will be canned as soon as they get out from under the effects of probation.
