Makes sense. Sam is total opposite to the rest of the staff. You never really heard his name in the recruiting circles . He recruits Jalen but havent heard him attached to anyone else really. He doesnt do social media.
Hopefully not the case. If it were, it would say that Rudd wants a 'yes man' for himself & Penny in the AD's position. As much as I love Penny, that's not what's needed.

Agreed. That would be a very bad sign.
I do not think so. I would simply see it as a disagreement between a boss and his employee. No different than a company CEO stepping in and overriding the hiring (not hiring) of someone under him. It is well within his position and rights to step in if he thinks a different direction is best for the company.
If the tweet is the case it sounds like Rudd agreed with Bowen last year about Brown. However, after a year of watching Penny work Rudd has decided that Penny can handle and control the situation in a satisfactory manner. Perhaps, Bowen does not or just has too much pride to admit he was wrong. Again, IF this were the case it does not appear Bowen is being pushed out or fired but rather he is not happy Rudd overruled him and has decided he does not want to be here.

Something within a CEO's position and rights can still be a bad sign for the company. Again, I hope this isn't the case, and we get a strong AD with high ambitions for all our athletic programs, including basketball and football. No yes men, no blank checks. I do trust Allie Prescott, and like the direction so far that Rudd has put the university in.

IF that tweet is true (don't think it is - too many assumptions), then it still does not necessarily mean a yes-man is what they are looking for. It could just be the proverbial straw, after months of disagreements.

I hear about Sam from recruiting interviews all the time. Not that he's the lead recruiter, but that other recruits/families value his experience and role on the team.
I've thought he was a great asset and perfect fit. But I'm not in the staff meetings, so... trust Penny.

yep, JandJ just interviewed someone close to Boogie. He mentioned Sam's xs and os and developing players into men.

Of the four coaches I always thought he would be the shortest tenure. Purely opinion.
He is the X and Os guy and the non nonsense teacher. He is not the recruiter but the players respect him and his pedigree.
His answer for everything has been to defer to Penny. As a former head coach he knows the best place for assistant coaches is where the head coach says be and is heard when the head coach says be heard. Penny gave them all opportunities to handle some radio stuff.
