I could make a dozen, individual threads for the daily shootings in Chicago. I don't. Maybe take that hint.

Sad state of affairs when shootings are so common in this country that some people don’t think it’s worth mentioning an incident in which 2 people died, 3 critically injured, and 1 other injured because not enough people were impacted. Btw, more people killed/injured here than in another event that has over 2 pages on this board.

Must say, thanks to the campus pd that responded quickly and confronted the shooter while he was still in the building. It’s not clear if he was still shooting when they arrived or had already stopped but they likely saved lives.

Not more important, but more relevant to a COLLEGE sports board.

Spin Room is not for university grads, plenty of retards post here.

Well damn...

The mistake in that statement is the implied assumption that a lot of University graduates aren't also idiots, because my experience has shown they most certainly are.

It's not that they're so common (they aren't), social media has just made us more aware of it than ever, and this cycle of running to message boards or your twitter account to REPORT THE BREAKING NEWS and then point fingers at people is breaking the country.

Unfortunately, after these tragedies, no one wants to hear rational discussion on the real causes of why humans continue to devalue other human lives. They only want to get to the "easy" solution, so they can move on as quickly as possible.

You should apologized for your used of term as "Retards." Only bullies used that term. It is not something to make fun of especially people like me who been called that at school because of my certain speech and hearing problems.
