Campus shooting at Charlotte - Fort Bend Owl - 04-30-2019 06:27 PM
2 dead, 4 injured. Sounds like they have the shooter in custody although this just happened within the last couple of hours so details are still coming in.
It's been a really crappy week for CUSA. A tornado hits the Louisiana Tech campus last week and does some significant damage to some campus buildings (and a mother and her child died when a tree fell on them in the storm). And now this.
Keep those prayers going for the CUSA family of schools.

Not a good week for Washburn campus either. One of their football players was shoot and killed after celebrating his teammate for being drafted in the NFL draft, and that drafted player is in the hospital from gun shot wounds as well.

Is a crime committed by an illegal worse than a crime committed by a citizen?
The answer is yes, btw. Domestic violence is horrible, but unfortunately part of some family lives. However going to school one should not have to worry about a gunman opening fire on peers/strangers.

On Sunday night in West Chester Ohio (suburb of Cincinnati) an Indian man came home at around 9:30 pm to find his wife, her sister, and his wife's parents all shot dead in their apartment. Just horrible. His 911 call is gutwrenching.

Sorry to hear about that too. But SuperFlyBCat could have easily posted his own thread on that shooting. I'm not sure what he's trying to say but whatever point he is trying to make, it comes across as petty and incredibly disrespectful to the families of the victims of the Charlotte shooting.

Reason why is that if a school gets shot up, it's a "gun control" thing.
When the death toll rises in Chicago from shootings, it's a "cultural" thing.
Blame the gun = OK
Blame the individual = Don't go there.
