I would think that any team in the country would welcome Watford with open arms so it is a little weird that they haven't at least offered him yet. Maybe Duke doesn't see him as most of us do?

There might be a possibility that Duke wants to bring him in a day or two before he announces. So the excitement of the visit and possible offer is still fresh. Who knows.
