And yes I can have as much fun in Galveston as I can in New Orleans or a host of other cities. Not saying it doesn't have its redeeming qualities but much of its reputation is hype and not much else.

The rest of us would make more than $7M per with less Tulanes in the conference. Tulane is the bloated Pig with lipstick on it just for being in the AAC.
It's easier to fix football or basketball than it is to create a great academic university or get a million+ people to move to your city.

Except there's a little thing called Economics.
Are u aware that Tulane was still a B12 finalist and remains one if not the best AAC travel destinations. Not to mention home to the best recruiting city. Oh and also a city that has the highest per capita fball tv ratings. All while being the best academic school in the conference. So terrible.
Btw went to a bowl last year, and the admin has put about $100mm in facilities since joining the AAC.
You should appreciate this fine university. K
Yawn, why does New Orleans get such a great rep for mostly one sleazy district? You can have just as much fun in Galveston (The Strand looks like it belongs on the French Quarter). Oh I know, because you can get drunk and see young ladies bare it all during one festival.
The culture is not easily found but again only so often. New Orleans is only worth a trip every 5 to probably 10 years.
Galveston, that’s cute.
Your ignorance is commendable. Have you heard of the garden district, magazine street, St Charles or maybe uptown and Audobon Park? Are you aware that NOlA has more open space than any major city? Amateur

Setting aside whether or not you're right, why are you taking every fight possible? These guys are just going to troll you.

Jesus man, r u paying attention? It is a deal with a sliding scale. Do u get the ramifications in real dollars? Do u understand that the deal is totally backloaded for a conference with time issues?
The worst are those who say “well that is what the market will bear”. Then why hire any leadership?

Even with $$$ as a constraint it doesn't invalidate my statement. Fixing a sport or sports at a school is usually the difference of a couple of hires. As a Memphis fan you more than ANYONE should know that.

We're on the same page, I'm only re-emphasizing Tulane adds no value.
Vanderbilt is unquestionably a value-added University to the SEC for their academics?

I'm aware none of that is factual. Brett McMurphy. That guy's a clown. And Tulane is irrelevant.
It is all “factual”. If the B12 losses UT, Tulane will be on the short replacement list. You would understand tbis fact if u understood “economics”.
No idea how McMurphy matters.
Tulane is one of only three AAU schools not in a P5. You would be honored to have a degree from TU.
I understand Economics just fine, thank you. Tulane was never under consideration. Brett McMurphy promulgated Tulane as a legitimate candidate for the Big 12.
Because McMurphy is a troll with obviously very little knowledge on such matters as conference realignments. He knows recruiting, and he should stay at that level of insider knowledge, because he knows nothing beyond that level.
I'm just waiting for Tulane to present the Economic value you add to the AAC. Was ESPN clamoring for Tulane in our latest deal with them?

Tulane is actually the clown in D1'
Really happy Memphis State now awards 4 year degrees, big step up from your former community college standing.
We've been doing it for several decades. Really happy you just now realized that several decades after you were born. Big step up from a Toddler.

Congrats. You have just described every major city on Earth.

What would Alabama do without them?
The last time you guys trolled a school incessantly about their value, they left and 3, 874, 251 threads formed. Just saying...
