Rice at FAU, game 3
Did they move up the game to 10 am? Maybe it was 10 am all along. Honestly I have no idea. There is rain forecast for later in the day so perhaps it was a weather/travel issue.
Anyway, FAU just took a 1-0 lead in the 1st after a 2-out 1B and 2B.

Now 3-0 after an FAU bomb.
This team sucks.

FBO, they did move the game up a hour due to the rain forecast.

The move up in start time certainly hasn’t moved up Rice’s performance. 0-5 FAU going to 3rd.

Kendal breezes thru B4.
Cade HRs to open 5th followed by Antonio HBP. Need a crooked number here.

Does Rice lead the nation in runners LOB? Maybe it just seems like it.

Tyner can’t throw a strike to save his life.
Bases loaded, no outs.

Whereas, Lewis can throw strikes, which they are able to hit for long distances on a frequent basis. Maybe this throwing strikes thing is over-rated.

4-12 going to T9.
Despite some glimmers of hope against Baylor and TCU, this Rice baseball team is just not very good. Hopefully, they will get better, but I think the future depends on Bragga's ability to significantly step up recruiting and then squeezing everything he can out of those recruits.
Trei double is only noise in the 9th. Final 12-4 FAU for the sweep. Ouch.

Is it better this year over last year. Are we improving or regressing?
About the same IMO.
