I'm not gonna be picky and even with the 100 miles of hate thing; I'd be glad to see Western in the NIT. Southern Miss would be just fine too!

Not happening. Only about 24 spots and will go to all the .500 teams or above P5 teams..

No, but the ACC will send their other six. Seriously the suck arse ACC gets 3 of 4 #1 bids. 03-puke UNC is a 2 seed AT BEST, but they're getting the easy route to the sweet 16, AGAIN.

Also as of today

Interesting that both teams have 20 wins... WKU played the tougher schedule... WKU beat Southern Miss head to head 3 times... but the NET ranks Southern Miss twenty spots better than WKU? NET is deeply flawed.

That's an understatement.

Look at the NET top 100, and.all.the schools with sub .500 records.

NET heavily rewards wins of 10 points or more. So a team like ODU with a win against Syracuse isn't getting much love.

Look at NC State. Perfect example has a NET ranking under 35, walloped their bottom feeders, and had no real key Quadrant 1 wins.

What I've learned from NET is this. Schedule your tougher OOC games at home. Schedule your cupcakes on the road. Hope you get big scoring margins.

As expected, no CUSA teams in the NIT field.

Two teams you could question. San Diego State and Wichita State.

Particularly San Diego State. Finished 10-10 in the WCC, NET in the low 90's and RPI close by.

I wish if the regular season champ wins their conference tournament that they could be the ones to give their auto bid away. I mean we earned the NIT bid but lose it because we won the tournament.

yep....too many don't understand how 'selections made' are in the biased/paid-off genre...

this is another reason why the pod system is retarded.....if your conference champ wins the tourney, you're completely screwed of an NIT bid....
