Dear Bob Wickersham,
I dislike the Central Michigan teams. I would never root for them. If you want that's fine, but don't ask me to, because I never will. I don't want to be objective about teams I dislike.

Wow, you are having doubts about Hawkins??? With 2 NCAA and 1 NIT invitations- that is a solid mid major program. Though I realize the last 5 years have been more mediocre with the last being outright dismal. Hope he rebounds for you guys...

Of the three aforementioned coaches Hawkins has the best MAC resume. I'm not saying he is not on the downslide but unlike Murphy and Davis he tends to build his teams with 4 year players instead of transfers. He is only losing two seniors from this years team so I doubt this season's performance will be repeated.

Also I am nominating him for the Wickersham FABULOUS CLOSE LOSSES TO A SUPERIOR TEAM AWARD for WMU's performance early this year in Ann Arbor.

Sheeesh! The whole point of objectivity is being objective about teams we dislike! I hate U-M more than anything in life (other than Trump) but objectively, I have to give them credit for playing well and having a great season. What a game today, MSU beating U-M for the third time!!!!!!! Yes!
