Kith played pretty poorly today. The previous 3 games he played well. I think you ride hom when he is playing well, but I didn't have an issue sitting him in the 2nd half today. Thought we should have kept running through X... we kind of got away from about 12 min to go until about 2 minutes to go. He could have scored 30. Whenever BJ is the defense focus, we need to run the offense through X. That is the solution to how we have been played the last 4 games.

The issue your gonna have with Kith by sitting him is......your gonna lose him! He will walk. He know he can play for this team and should be playing more. Whatever issue he has with JJ is gonna cause us to lose him and I can't say I blame him. There were times this year I thought he should be starting but instead he got 4 mins playing time. He just isn't going to put up with that. And how does JJ expect him to play with the limited playing time he gets? I will be very surprised if he comes back next year.

He's burned his redshirt. He'll be back and he'll be the starting PG next year. I think he should have played more in a lot of games... and he is probably my favorite player, but he wasn't going to get much PT with Caver as a senior. JJ is going to let this team go where Caver will take them as a senior that is one of the best PGs we've had. It is what it is, but Kith will be back and be our PG for 2 years.

So, instead of starting next year, Kithcart is going to transfer and sit out another year and lose a year of eligibility?

I think the box score is messed up. We were shooting 50pct in that game at one point. The box shows that wade had 0pts when I know he made one FT

The box score shows Wade with 2 pts. I remember he hit a runner in the lane in the first half. I thought he missed a free throw also but it shows him 0-0.

Yep, the box score summary is wrong.
I checked the Play-by-Play on ESPN.

Missed FT:
Elbert R
Kithcart
Wade
X
Kalu
Carver missed both!

No way we were 10 of 11 as quoted in the papers. That should mess up the scouting report (in our favor)! LOL

Dayum... I checked all my apps, appleTV, reddit, facebook, cbssn, and cannot find the replay of this game.... anywhere on the internets.

Like many others I was at work during the game. I slipped out to listen to the last ten minutes of the first half. I followed on ESPN app and it wasn’t looking good. I was surprised when I looked down at the end and our guys had pulled off another comeback win. Way to go Monarchs!

I will probably watch tonight at Cogans N. It’s hopefully going to be an epic night.

The ESPN box score shows 22 FGs of which 6 were 3s and 11 FTs for 61 points. The math checks out so the only explanation I can think of is they just didnt record some of the missed FTs? Weird.

Also, here is a stat you don't see often: UAB shot better from the field than the line.

Wish Zack Bryant played for us. Helluva player, feel sorry for him blowing that pass, but happy for the result. He was obviously very upset.

He broke Grayson Allens scoring record in Florida coming out of HS. The kid is player and will be trouble over the next couple of years.

Still can’t believe we won yesterday. Two miracle finishes in a row. It’s time to get out of the funk and get a solid victory tonight. Go Monarchs!
