leadoff walk by Gayle...followed by a single. How much longer does he stay in?

Bragga left him in way too long. A double on Gayle's 80th pitch (!!!), by far the longest outing of his career), and Rice is now down 0-4.

Greenwood gets out of the inning with a DP. But we go down 1-2-3, with two strikeouts. NINE for the evening thus far...

Nice 1-2-3 inning by Greenwood. Heading to bottom of the 6th still down 4-0

Now played 14 innings vs TXSt this season and the Owls still haven’t scored.

On the up side, 0 errors so far.

At this point, this is primary focus for me.

57% of the Owl outs. Great!

Random epiphany of sorts... was Ty Harrington an assistant of Clint Gustafson?

Greenwood plunks the first two hitters he sees in the 7th... but 1b was open since a WP had moved the first guy over... Groundout moves the runners over to 2b and 3b with one out.

3 HBPs and a wild pitch in the same inning, and Greenwood escapes unscathed. Hudini-esque.

With 2 outs, Owls load bases on 2 singles and a HBP.

F7 ends threat.

And the Owls play them again in San Marcos March 26th.

Pray for rain?
