Ok, it says on Feb. 27 he was assigned to Cleveland Indians. What does that mean? It says he was assigned to minor leagues in the past but now the big org so that was why i thought he made it.

Sandlin is possibly a non-roster invite to spring training. Do to various MLB particulars, teams won't put minor league players on a 40 man roster until they absolutely have to.
