By the way, Beagle, what have you seen from Lynch? I get that he’s a freshman but the way Berry was talking him up, I expected at least a solid 7 or 8 hitter.

I have been happy with our pitching coach pulling the pitchers a lot sooner this year than last. he would leave too many guys in too long last year.

Also, why do our fans clap so loudly for a fly ball for the second out that moves a runner to third??

The blue hairs love advancing the runner.

No kidding. I wondered for a second if Cox missed Wallner moving over to third and it was a SAC fly.

Would love to hear this crowd on a well executed hit and run that moves a guy to second.

I was sitting near a guy at the 2017 regional that was telling everyone “it’s baseball 101!” as Braley squared up to bunt in the 8th against State. I wanted to knock the hell out of him.

Yeah, D1 had him as league FOY. He’s just lost up there now. Looks to have decent plate discipline but he’s not doing anything else right at the moment.

Please don’t mention the Braley bunt again.

I’m trying to forget it.

Of all the Berry decisions, that one killed me the most.

Guys, i have never seen strikeouts like we do. Say what you want, but real talent does not strike out that much. Looooonnng year ahead especially when we pinch hit our worst hitter for our worst hitter. lol

It’s a midweek game, but that wasn’t good. We looked awful against Southland midweek guys. I was listening to their coach on local radio today and he didn’t seem high on his pitchers at all.

It was good to see the bullpen show out again.

Really need to take this series this weekend (preferably sweep) or this season could start to get away from us.

Not familiar with Prairie View’s midweek pitching is but I imagine it isn’t too good.

When you start to feel bad about our fielding, just remember that Rice committed 8 errors in a game earlier this year.

yep....and the point would be???

or should we just give up on non/intentional walks or singles and have fun watching us defend doubles, triples, and dingers???
