We probably don't have the funds to fire him, but he only has 1 year left on his contract after this season. So we can replace him after 1 more painfully mediocre season.

What are ya'll's best suggestions for a coach that 2 mil a year can buy?

Gregg Marshall.

Prerequisite candidate for any opening in the Major 7. WSU job sucks, he doesn’t have fan support, and we pay him in golf balls.

I think 4ever should replace. He would definitely be in the official's ears 90% of the game and probably persuade them a call or two.

The guy at east tenn state.

But somebody else will snap him up first.

Gragg has screwed the whole athletic department. We really can't accomplish anything till we fire him.

I was told we are finally getting on top of the other stuff and that athletics will become more of a focus for the higher ups. They basically put it on cruise control while they dealt with more important issues.

Gragg has killed our scheduling, is terrible at PR, and at getting money. He hands in paperwork and doesn't get in trouble. Apparently that has been enough for the moment.

Steve Forbes would be a good get. Would be interesting to have one of Marshall's former assistants in the conference.

I know of at least one Tulsa fan who would agree with that.

Gragg seems like a nice guy but he has not advanced our cause. Hasn't necessarily hurt it either.

Comes with a complimentary NCAA investigator in tow, I hear. Sorta like a DOBO but kinda different.

That’s hurtful unless he comes back with Pitino

Steve Alford, Andy Kennedy, Mark Fox...you could get Marvin Menzies to jump out of the UNLV frying pan to Tulsa....

RE: ***Official Replace Frank Haith Thread***
Gragg confuses desperate with ambitious. We want the latter not the former.

As to the refs, I don't know how much you can influence stupid. Stupid is as stupid does. Something is going to have to be done though. It seems to be getting worse not better and as far as I can tell as Mick Cronin pointed out there are no consequences for them.

I can promise that my match up zone comes with a shooter lock and I'm not afraid to switch defenses or.attacks when one is obviously getting shredded.

I have no idea why we don't have a viable full court press we can put on besides man to man. That 3/4 trap is effective to slow down and will occasionally result in a turn over but it won't speed up the game. Not that it mattered much as we couldn't shoot.

Not sure, I don't think that lasts though. Someone will make the move for him. Maybe Wake?

That is true, slipped my mind. Plus he is a bit under the radar and people like an attention getter to win the press conference.
