Georgetown coming on the schedule soon?
Drew Hill, the Memphis beat writer, just tweeted that Penny said he and the AD we're on the same page with scheduling Georgetown. Don't know how far along that is or how many games -- but I like the idea. Love to get Gonzaga back on the schedule also.

Lol. You need new stuff. Norvell and Penny are both on the same page with Bowen.

I can't think of any OOC that are better for us than G'town, Gonzaga, and of course L'ville. Play the regional stuff if we must, to sell tickets. I'll hold my nose and go. But give me some of these old (non-SEC) powerhouses.

Penny Hardaway v. Patrick Ewing is a coaching matchup that ESPN could tell a hell of a story with. That's College GameDay type stuff.

If Ewing continues to improve G'town and Penny continues to improve us, this is a very good idea.

They're a non-scholarship FCS program. They're only DI in football because they are required to be.

Mark Few ended the series because he kept losing to us. Even Josh was able to beat him.
