The ACC was in favor, but it was a conference divided. Wake Forest effectively swung the vote from no to yes.

The Big 12 and Big Ten had zero financial reasons to vote no. The coaches were mostly in favor, but not the ADs (although Indiana voted in favor of the proposal within the Big Ten). What, they feared diverting pennies away from their football funding??

It's certainly not an attendance or on field issue.

UH leads UC 2-1 in the bottom of the 8th but they are about ready to extend it with the bases loaded and nobody out.

UC's starter pitched very well until the first two batters reached in this inning and he was pulled.

Houston was only able to get 1 run. 3-1 UH going to the top of the 9th.

I'm watching the ECU-UConn game and it finally hit me where I have heard the ECU announcer's voice - he sounds an awful lot like Squidward of SpongeBob (or Squidward sounds like him).
