I have a few sayings:

1. I am not superstitious, but I am a little stitious.

2. It's only weird if it doesn't work.

3. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

We need the "all I want is for us to score more points" person to post and then we'll be set.

All I want is for us to have more points than the Hilltoppers at the end of the allotted time.

I must say, I am just very glad we got our toughest pod game first at home on a Saturday

To be honest, our toughest game will likely be UTSA on the road....and I'm not certain WKY is better than USM.

It will be a tough 4 games. Good chance even going 2-2 would lock up the NIT, I believe.

WKU other than us have the best talent in every position. The question is can they play together vs individually. They have the best Center in the league and Hollingsworth is a tough player that has in the past absolutely killed us. Do not look past WKU. Going and 2-2 which should not happen will likely result in a tie breaker situation if a 5 loss team goes 4-0.

WKU has the edge on us in pure talent. We have the advantage on them in resilience.

They have shown, multiple times this season, that they will crumble in the face of adversity. We've shown, also multiple times this season, that our team is capable of stepping up when the pressure is greatest -- and too often self-inflicted. (The UTSA game being he most obvious exception.)

All the more reason why I hope that we have the Ted packed on Saturday with loud and raucous fans. We need the Hillhumpers tasting fear right from the start.

I agree. I watched Bassey crumble from Kalu putting it on him w/ zero f's given. Now, we'll see if he has learned from that experience soon enough.

Like a new season starting Saturday. Throw the records out. I expect every single game to be a close, down to the wire affair. Throw out what has happened before and strap up folks. If we come out of these last four games with four wins, I will be extremely excited! The WK game will be a war.

There will be one squad who comes out of this four game grind battle tested and in first place. I love our Monarch squad, time to shine!

WKU on the road absolutely would've been tougher than UTSA on the road
