This situation completely mirrors the whole issue with the radical left. Here's how:

The United States has heavily subsidized Europe since WWII by providing them with the lions share of the force necessary to keep Communism from spreading into their precious little world. Not having to provide the bulk of investment for their own defense is a massive subsidy for what is normally a fat slice of any nation state's domestic budget. Yet who does the left turn to for criticism? Those we pay to protect.

Here we are trying to protect the citizens who pay the taxes and expect their government to provide as much diligence on our borders as they have done for 7 decades in Europe. Yet who does the radical left turn to for criticism? Yep the damned illegals trying to cross our borders so they too can get a subsidy courtesy of the tax payers of the U.S..

And internally who to the Radical Left Dems turn to for support and criticism of the nation? The vast majority of their support comes from those here legally that rely upon subsidy from the rest of us. We pay for their babies through WIC, we pay for their welfare, provide a portion of taxes for their healthcare, and through property and sales tax pay for their education (which the Dems turn into a hate productive America fest).

When Shere Kahn keeps reminding you that Dems hate America here is the proof of his assertion.

The Radical Left sides with every freeloading bellyacher who hates and loathes their benefactors. This type of personality disorder is common among those who know they rely upon others for their living or a portion of it. It is what Marxism feeds off of. Play to that dysfunction and the freeloading bellyaching masses might give you power. But when you grab that power the lazy non productive bellyachers are the first to get purged. Even the damned Communists know they don't have a chance to accomplish anything when they have so many they have to subsidize. For communism to have even a prayer of succeeding the state needs to profit off of the labor of their (whole) population.

It disgusts me that so many Americans have lost the common sense to see this for what it is. But when the schools constantly teach our young that their self esteem is measured by their compassion for the laggards of the world, and even worse teach them that the cultures and world views of the laggards are the ones they need to adopt, what we are getting is a recipe for failure being sold to our kids. Piss on that!

And if we are so damned stupid as to continue to permit this insanity then we deserve what we get.

If not for the United States Europe would have been toast years ago. If not for the natural compassion of the citizens of this country there would be no legal immigration. If not for the natural compassion of the citizens of this country there would be no social welfare, or WIC, or any other form of assistance. And to all of the liberals who want to blame White American Males (and honestly it should be all Tax Paying Self Sufficient Citizens) none of the opinions of the ignorant gripers would even be heard because none of them would be here and the Europeans would have been under Fascism or Communism by now if not for the sacrifice of lives, limbs, and income by the Tax Paying Self Sufficient Citizens of this country the majority of which are white and majority of which fought and died for the opportunities of those who ***** about us.

So the only conclusion that a reasonable person can make is that the Radical Left (now the Democratic Party) is only filled with people who are dedicated to destroying our freedoms, empowering our enemies, and attacking our productive by using their natural compassion against them and filling their children's heads with lies.

I was in Gdansk, Poland, on a Baltic cruise two summers ago. I took a tour of the shipyard (where Lech Walesa led the shipyard revolt that ultimately ended communism in Poland). It is an incredibly moving place, my emotions were touched on the level that they have been, in different ways, at Hiroshima, Nagasaki, and the parade ground at Nuremberg. There is an excellent museum, and we had a guided tour. If you ever have the chance, do not miss it.

Our guide was a lady who had been a teenager during the strikes. Two things really stood out:

1) There was a photo of a long line of people queued up in a snowstorm to get meat. There were many small children wrapped up in overcoats and whatever else. Our guide explained, "They brought even their smallest children with them, no matter how bad the weather, because the meat was apportioned based on number of people who showed up. So you dragged all your children along, and many of them got sick from exposure."

2) There was another photo of students rioting. Our guide said, "I was a university student at the time, but I did not take part in the riots because I was too scared. But (pointing out people in the photo) this guy here was my history professor, and I dated this guy for a while, and this guy sat behind me in a couple of my classes."

People who have those memories are not going to give in easily.

I'm reminded of a joke going around at the time of the strikes:

Polish soldiers are in political indoctrination camp. After two weeks of camp the political trainer asks a soldier:
"Two soldiers are in front of you. A Russian and an American. Which do you shoot?"
Soldier enthusiastically responds, "The Russian!"
Soldier goes back for two more weeks of indoctrination.
Now the trainer asks again:

Once again the soldier gleefully shouts, "The Russian!"

An enlightened look comes into the soldier's eyes.
"Ah! So you are saving the Russian for me!!!"

Had a Hungarian friend in college late 70s early 80s. They didn't like the Russians either. They were, of course, the first to rebel, in 1956.
