Last game: Two FTs with 1.3 secs left gave MTSU their second straight victory over UAB, 79-78. UAB used a 22-2 first half run leading to a 42-31 lead at HT. MTSU methodically came back in the second half, tying the game with 9:06 remaining and swapping leads until the clinching FTs. Zach Bryant led the Blazers with 25 pts (7-15 FG, 3-4 3s, 8-8 FT) and 6 assists, Jeremy Bell had 14 pts (5-8 FG, 3-4 3s) with Makhtar Gueye, Lewis Sullivan and Jalen Perry 10 pts each.

Huge game. We have always had trouble down there. We win this one, we will be sitting pretty good! I guess we shall see.

Every game is must-win, but this is our toughest opponent that we have before pod play begins. Getting the #1 spot in the top pod is important

This is our toughest road game of the year besides Syracuse. I think the matchup might work in our favor as they don't get to the free throw line or shoot 3s very well. And shoot FTs as bad as us.

UAB and MTSU were both shooting the lights out last game. Let's hope they got it out of their system.

Let's aim to have more points than UAB at the end of the allotted time.

Tavion Lovan has a broken hand. Sounds like he isn't ruled completely out though.

Yeah, UAB has fans and a proud history too. CUSA sucks the life out of teams. I would have thought this would have had a lot of buzz down there considering the long term rivalry these two teams have and that we're in first place.

Watching our typical patented scoring drought. Over 4 minutes and counting...

Hate these "home grown" announcers but I don't miss TA either.

BORING game ! Same old offense. I just hope we can keep it close while Caver is out. Beating UAB will be tough playing like this and then going to MTSU will be even tougher. We can easily be 8-5 after these 2 games.
