We were after him hard. I was really hoping we got him

Most fans (75%+) were not excited when Rob was hired. Rob is a good guy and a good ASSISTANT coach with a good pedigree so we were hopeful but the nightmare that most fans thought would happen is happening. We were hoping he would come around but he is not. And since most fans were not really into the hire in the first place you are seeing them take it out on attendance. Our attendance has historically not been great over the last decade but this is getting bad now.
Congrats on the W last night. We were out coached in that second half by a mile!
Hey what's up with those international flags hanging in your arena?
They represent the different countries our players are from. We have several players from different parts of the world.
Thats cool. A really easy way to make an impression on those kids.
I wish we recruited more overseas players. I'm not the one who in charge of the recruiting budget though.
Agreed. Very cool gesture.
Very cool indeed. For a University that markets itself as being diverse, it's a no brainer.

Yes if I remember correctly Looserville, ODU, UAB, and a few others were offering him. Louisville went cold on him though.
And he is slightly hot headed and so is Bell the guard. Those two go at it sometimes during games but its usually over with after the ball is put back in play.

Now , MT. 0-8 for the good guys against this team. 3 hour bus ride straight up the road from UAB. IF we can take this, we are sitting pretty dang good.
Our coaches have built a team with players who have unique abilities who just seem to fit together. From our two unquestioned leaders, to Wade, Dickens, Kithcart, Green and Zip . We have a squad, let’s go get victory 20 and go from there.
And Carver. He had 8 boards and 4 well timed points last night and ate up lots of minutes with Ezikpe gimpy. Every team needs a guy who does the dirty work like him.
I think our entire team is a little banged up right now. We need to take care of business tomorrow - and then I really like that our squad does not play again until next Saturday at the Ted.

“What..” I thought your broadcast team was the most level headed I’ve listened to this year. A little on the dull side but not near as “homie” as most.
