Colorado college has a 4-2 lead with 9 mins left in the 3rd. They may end Saint clouds unbeaten streak at home.

LOL I jinxed it...Saint Cloud wins 5-4 in OT.

CC took Saint Cloud to OT both nights, that will be a very tough series in two weeks in Colorado Springs.

Gotta keep winning. Closer to 17 than 7 in the Pairwise.

In this week's press conference, Murray confirms that Freshman Rhett Kingston was injured in the Saint Cloud series and is now done for the year as he will require surgery.

Bummer. It seemed a little strange that Van Os was dressing over Kingston. Did he say what the injury was?

This weekend #8 Cornell plays #31 Brown, #9 Arizona State plays #28 American International, and #10 WMU plays #21 NDU. If we sweep, we might jump over those two teams regardless of whether they win or not.

RE: Bracketology
A sweep over North Dakota would pretty much put them out of home ice for NCHC playoffs and put us in prime position to finish top 4.

A sweep would be great because next weekend at CC will not be a cakewalk. There are no gimmees in the NCHC.

NCHC is a gauntlet! But worth it! The rest of the country know it and we don’t get crucified for road losses in conference like we would have in a lesser conf. Just sayin.

CC drove St Cloud crazy at St Cloud last week. On the road against CC is scary. Fingers and toes crossed.

Quick question for all you guys here, do you get excited about the NCHC conference tournament or just want to get it over with ASAP and move on to the NCAA tourney?

I suppose I would be excited for it if it was our only way to get into the field of 16 but this team is good enough that they shouldn't (heavy emphasis on shouldn't) have to win the conference tourney to make it to the NCAA's.

I'm excited for the NCHC tourney. I agree that the NCAA's are the ultimate prize and barring disaster, we should get into the NCAA tourney regardless of what happens in the NCHC tourney. But, I think winning the NCHC or going to the Finals would represent a big milestone in this program going to another level.

Making the finals of the NCHC tourney is a bigger accomplishment than making the NCAA tournament. Let's set our goals high folks.

Appears to be about 100 tickets left for Friday, and only SRO for Saturday. Go WMU!

Western moves up 1 spot to #8 in the USCHO poll.

#1 St. Cloud St, #3 Minnesota-Duluth, #7 Denver.

I want to win a game in Minneapolis. Gotten to the semis a couple times and then lost out.

Winning the NCHC
Winning a NCAA Tourney Game
Making a NCAA Tourney Game

That's how I'd rank it.
