UNCW is getting better and have been better defensively since conference play has started. I believe that Alex stated that they were only allowing 39% FG against during that span. That's inflated a bit low due to the teams that UNCW played but it also speaks to the improved defensive play of the team. Some of the new guys have really helped in that regard the way it appears. Jaylen Sims has a chance to be really good defensively IMHO which would add to what the other newcomers like Ty and Kai are doing.
Do you mean “deflated”, Bill? Or do we not use that term around here so as not to trigger seahawkhoops and his New England homerism?
