Hmm. Would I take 2 P5 wins over local teams (UNC and South Carolina), only to lose the division and a chance at a NY6? Beating UNC and South Carolina, likely being top 25, but still going to the Camellia Bowl would succkkkkkk.

Yeah I know it’s kind of far fetched! But I do believe next year is going to be the sunbelts best year in the history of the conference. With the potential of having 7+ teams bowl eligible!

Depends on who the losses are to. If all 3 losses are to each other, it's going to CFP rank or computer rankings. In this case (3 teams at 11-1), we'd have a CFP ranked team, so it would go there first.
EDIT: He says Troy undefeated in the SBC, App and GS both lose only to Troy. In that case, no tiebreaker needed.
EDIT 2: Nevermind, his prediction is impossible, haha

Impossible, as all theee teams play one-another. It would have to be a three-way tie.

Yes next year we could have huge non-conference wins and potential teams in the top 25 playing in sunbelt bowl games. Which is kind of a downer

I’ll say this, if he does try to overhaul the program, he will have a very short stay in Boone.
A head coach that improves what? You are babbling. Your head coach has only slightly better credentials than Tyson Summers.
Your defense does not have the personnel to run the 4-3. There will be a big learning curve there.
One thing that I can guarantee. You will lose some starters to a transfer.
This is just totally false and grasping for straws. You can hope that we lose some starters but there is no guarantee that anyone is transfering. Or that there is going to be a huge learning curve.
Don't take your hopes and wishes and claim them to be guarantees ... just not very smart.

This is part of the process ... All Sun Belt teams need to win those out of conference game to achieve the credibility we deserve and better bowl games at next realignment. Two - Three ranked teams in the Belt needs to happen if we want something better then the Camellia Bowl (which btw, I didn't think was so bad, other than MAC team)

You need to adjust your records to recognize there are 80 conference games therefore 40 loses. You only show 38 loses. lol

I agree the actual Bowl lineup isn't all that bad in fact I'd say that the New Orleans Bowl, Dollar General Bowl and Arizona Bowl should be coveted post season games for a G5 team. It's the opponents that need to shift. If we could get one P5 and then one Bowl against each of the other four G5 leagues I'd be very happy.

There will be fewer P5/G5 bowl matchups in 2020 not more.

Also, while we're withholding predictions until Troy gets a new coach, might want to monitor the AState situation as well. Major changes heading to the football program supposedly. Combination of changes to try and pacify an angry fan base, and other schools doing their dead level best to take advantage of all our uncertainty by poaching.
