For 5 decades people have called me incredible, but even i lack the power to change the outcome of games by making a post.

I think it's crap, not giving him credit for all 21 wins. You sure have no problem blaming him for the losses "because he's the CEO of this team, it's all on him". Well if it is all on him, he deserves credit for every win HIS ROSTER produces.

If you have an issue with it then contact the NCAA and have the rule changed.

Until then just lay back in your bassinet and suck on your paci.

Later someone will check and see if you need a diaper change.

I just gave my opinion. If you can't handle it without making personal slights, maybe you best find a new hobby.

Based on that criteria, then Slick Rick should be at the top of the list at 3-0. Those games have to count for someone. I mean, Jones is on the list and he was an interim as well.

The issue has been explained and settled officially since before the first tip of the season, yet you still want to beat a dead horse.

What part of last 10 COACHES is beyond your pea brain's ability to comprehend.

Per NCAA rules, Penny was not the coach of record for the first three games.

We went over and debated it for several pages at the start of the season.

Those three are tentatively assigned to Stansbury but that isn't official until after the season is over as the school can still award them to any of the assistants.

Is your pea brain incapable of reading the next post past the one you quoted? Get back to me with a response to that one.

I created this same type thread for all five of the major sports on campus plus the 2 soccer teams.

The record i use is the exact same numbers that EarthBoundMisfit uses for his official game post.

If you don't agree with the numbers then call the official U of M athletic records department.

Ricky Your hate for Penny and love for Josh is so obvious and stupid. Just curious why do you not have Stansbury on the top of the list at 1.000? career 3 and 0 at Memphis?

RE: Last 10 Tigers MBB Coaches
I no longer care THAT much about who gets credit for the wins, but here is the text from the NCAA Statistics Policies and Guidelines for suspended coaches:

Quote:SUSPENDED COACH
If a head coach is suspended for a game or more by the school or conference, the coach is still eligible to receive the wins or losses during the absence, but some institutions have chosen to give the record to the interim coach. If a head coach is suspended by the Committee on Infractions and/or Independent Accountability Resolution Process, the coach will not receive credit for the wins or losses; those decisions will go toward the interim coach’s record. Other unique circumstances will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. (Updated 5/1/2014)

Penny made the decision to work directly with the NCAA on this instead of through the Committee on Infractions or IARP. In that case, it's possible to interpret that the 3 wins should be counted to his record. But I can see both sides of the argument.

Source:
NCAA Statistics Policies and Procedures = http://fs.ncaa.org/Docs/stats/ForSIDs/Policies.pdf
Penny electing to work directly with the NCAA = https://www.commercialappeal.com/story/s...%20school.
