Here are the current winning percentages for the last 10 Tigers coaches. Will be interesting to see how long it takes Penny to move up and how far he will move up.

Calipari .785
Kirk .731
Bartow .721
Pastner .696
Yates .654
Finch .628
Hardaway .611
Smith .606
Price .545
Jones .483
That's a sample size of 11 games. In other words, it's a worthless sample size. No respectable Analyst or Statistician would pay any mind to those percentages utilizing 11 data points.

Called a base starting point.

Designed to see how fast and how far he advances.

Could have started him at .000 at the beginning and raised him after each game.
I recall Calipari repeatingly telling us that that first team was a top 35 team.

Which he coached to a 16-13 (.551) regular season record.

Then turned around next year and had them 20-4 (0-3 against SEC)before the wheel fell off and finished 22-8 regular season. Lost first round CUSA to Houston before winning the NIT.
moved up 1 spot jumping over Orlando

Our conference schedule was a lot better then
Moved up one more spot
Down two after today. This early in career single win or loss results in move up or down.
Surely you’re not planning on giving everyone the play by play of “moved up 1, moved down 2, stayed the same” after every couple games throughout Penny’s career?
I think it's a subtle attempt to remind everybody how good Pastner's winning percentage was here.
This thread will disappear as soon as Penny's winning % gets anywhere close to .696.

So basically you are saying that you hope the Tiger's lose so that Penny never reaches Pastner's winning %. Some kinda fan you are. Besides it's gonna take a lot more than that to piss me off. I do know what will piss you off, though.
While you are at it, why don't you add in some more intangibles like winning percentage against top 100, losses vs teams 200 or less, NCAA tourney wins, tourney winning percentage, and record vs top 25 teams.

Up to .625 right at the average for the Tiger program as a whole over the years (.635).

On the contrary, I will enjoy seeing Penny rise in the ranks as time goes by.
Likewise.
