Interesting deal.
Certainly has the right to do whatever he & his family thinks is best but there weren't any better offers than UAB.
Also, no closer place to go than UAB.
Oh well.
Supposedly now has 10+ offers. I guess others see his potential(only 1 year of football). Could still end up at UAB, I suppose.
Senior DL Lockhart gaining late recruiting traction
https://247sports.com/Article/Senior-DL-...126828941/
Michael Lockhart committed to UAB back in October with the local offer representing the only FBS extension on his offer list.
Just over two months later, the Birmingham (Ala.) Huffman defensive line prospect has two new Power 5 offers and has an official visit scheduled to an SEC program. It's the latest chapter in the late rise of the 6-foot-5, 250-pounder following his first (and last) year of high school football. The basketball standout had focused on the hardwood until 2018 but made plays on the gridiron in the fall. His circulating tape and the lapse of the Early Signing Period has resulted in a late boost in the recruiting process.
The increase in interest combined with not signing early has the intriguing defender, who can play end or tackle down the line, has him back on the market. He and UAB parted ways on Thursday.

He’s an interesting looking player. Started out as a qb in high school and apparently was converted to TE and LB in JC. Based on twitter it says he’s transferring not that he was offered. He may be coming as a preferred walk on.

I do believe that karma catches up with some.
UAB noticed him. Got too big for his britches & decided to go elsewhere.
What happens if it does not work out?
I wouldn't have noticed him yesterday & I certainly won't remember tomorrow what he does.

The fact that other schools want our recruits is a huge step in the right direction. This is going to happen if we continue to have success.

Thanks. I didn't remember seeing anything about us offering him.

any link about this
Are they using the total number or the average
From my point of view ,,the average is more important
the average for 15 players compare to 25 players is more information then the total number but it is just my point of view
are they ranking juco ??
it is seem very difficult to rank the 3 and 2 star compare to 5 stars
so far coach did very good
The game against NIU show that UAB had super players in both side of the fields
and I am pretty sure NIU class were close or even better then UAB

5th as a total, and 6th as an average for players.........JUCO's are ranked, but they have at least 2 of them drastically underrated.

I guarantee an OL PLAYERS are most of time rate below an WR etc
We need to fill many spot and i like what coach clark is doing
The rate go up if they were look by a sec team like our famous LB who is not starting
I love the size of the players and how much weight can they get etc for hs players ...juco need to be ready to play

Couldve been a DL,TE, or OT. We dropped the ball on him like we did A. Perry last year.

How so? Seems like he just blew up. What else could UAB have done?
