It's hard for me to suppress a smile when BK stumbles or gets spanked on a big stage. I'm beginning to wonder how we might have fared if he'd stuck around long enough to coach our Sugar Bowl game before slinking off to his dream job? Better or worse?

Clemson and Alabama belong in the P* conference.

It looks to me like Georgia should have been in the playoffs.

ND has never won a BCS/NY6 bowl, 0-6, every loss by 14 plus, and 4 by 27 or more.

Sounded like two boring games. I choose not to watch this broken system and it’s overly hyped handpicked matchups.

Maybe when it gets to 8 team playoff and AAC has an auto bid I’d watch.

Too bad some of you have nothing better to do but help feed this broken P5 garbage.

We all knew ND was a product of the schedule. Just beat Ball State. just beat Pitt. The MI win as meaningless was made known by MI being destroyed by to$u and FL. They beat Navy by 22 but the next week UC beat Navy by 42. Some of the other wins were against name schools having bad years.

How could the committee fail to see it? A wise man told me "If you wonder about something the answer is follow the money."

The committee ignored the quality of the wins to get ND in. They've done the same for tOSU in past years. Large fanbases = lots of eyeballs on TV and seats sold in the stadium.

I hope it goes to 8 because then UC will actually have an outside chance of making it every year, but going to 8 won't change the two teams playing for a championship every year (Clemson and Alabama).

At least with some of these lousy bowl performances, if we suck in our game nobody will notice.

In BK's defense, in the 2012 NC game vs Bama his team was too distraught to play. They were still grieving over the death of Lennay Kekua. 03-lmfao

UCF, Georgia, and OSU would have all given Clemson a better game than Notre Dame did.

Might want to remove Columbus St from that list. They are still trying to recover from that curb stomping Purdont put on them. At least Urbs is

I don't understand why it is so hard to understand. The transitive property does not work in football.

ND deserved to be in the playoff based on their regular season accomplishments. Turns out they are not one of the 4 best teams. Both can be true.

The set up is flawed and ND used the system to their advantage. College football fans need to stop worrying about finding the best teams. No other sport does.

That said I'm not going to watch this boring matchup again.
