What a roller coaster of a season, and the greatest comeback in NIU history !!! Everything that we complained about all year came together in that second half, and Thank God for Sutton Freaking Smith. Gonna be hard to convince him and scouts that he’s not a first round pick. Spencer Tears is a grown a** man! Great Victory!!!

Watching the victory celebration on ESPN it was neat to see Dr. Freeman's support for the team. It reminds me of the outstanding support Dr. Peters provided at past championship games. I hope she can leverage the success of the football team with alumni engagement, fund raising, and attracting students.

Woke up this morning exhausted and hung over, my voice is shot from yelling, and my face hurts from smiling. I feel freaking awesome!!! THANK YOU HUSKIES!

What a great game. The first three quarters I was congratulating myself for not going to the game then in the fourth quarter I was kicking myself for not going.

You could see the team came out n the second half WANTING to win. They had a spirit we haven't seen in awhile. 3 for 3 on 4th down conversions.

Hope we get a warm weather bowl.

Yeah....While I wish I was there I don't regret cancelling my Detroit plans. There was zero indication this team had this in them. The coach, the QB, the WR's they all pulled a 180 in the second half and elevated their game like no other time this season.
I'm happy as hell and glad I was wrong about the offense. That is way bigger to me than making the trip. But damn I bet it was fun to be there.
