Of course it did get the post total into the Top 10 on this whole page. With a paltry 75 posts. Those higher threads? Generally are season threads. Not game day.

All these references to banning? when hardly anyone even posts in here? Hardly seems rational.

Reminds me of years ago. Mid 90s. CBS Sportsline corporate discontinued its sports chats and the whole forum left to start their own. Mods and all. It was exponentially more active than in here and populated with all teams fans, across all sports. The banter in there was a blast. But over time, the complainers complained, the haters hated, and the mods had their own agendas. Eventually, the site was down to a half dozen fans posting to themselves. It finally collapsed and longer exists.

The peak posting on that board was created by controversy. It’s what kept everyone involved. Unfortunately, the reactions to that controversy is what destroyed it. It was fun for a while, and then it was gone. Participants often censored, or chased away.

Doesn’t appear to me that there’s an over population of fans in here. Maybe no one cares.

The people that have been banned were banned for good reason. As for your post - You posted in a public forum and should expect to get some comments from people from all angles and opinions. Accept that or don't post.
Personally, I jumped in because you posted about UC swagger after they pounded SW Arkansas Pine Bluff Tech into dust and won some crap tourney against a bunch of scrubs in a third world country -which prove nothing. Had they defeated a good team and you posted about swagger, I would not have taken issue with it. I'm tired of seeing UC look like world beaters against the low majors and then crap their britches on the big stage when the curtains go up and the lights come on...which is a hallmark of Mick Cronin teams.

In my long experience, it’s teams with swagger that climb the rankings. Doesn’t mean they can’t be beat. Especially come Tourney time. To bad your perspective has been so jaded by the many UC disappointments in it.

At least we’re not Virginia. Now that was memorable.

I see more potential with each game. If I didn’t, why bother?

true but we only were on the losing end of the second biggest 2nd half comeback in ncaa tourney history...sooooooo the 'at least we're not Virginia' comment may be true, but barely.

In th end, it’s not how, but how many. I seem to remember a higher ranked team losing by a greater margin in the game directly after UC.

Can't you just take the guy at his word? He's a new fan on this forum, and mostly posts on game threads. Besides, payday would NEVER start a thread trumpeting the virtues of his team.

I'll wait until I see some swagger in the dance. November is fine, March is where it counts.

Lol. If your waiting for a tourney run from a team that was designed around Evans and Cumberland, then your going to be disappointed.

And yet that still doesn’t mean this team isn’t going to be fun to watch all season.
