The question is not will Sat leave rather will he leave on a good note.

Coaching change rookies. Gotta love these guys.

Thought the same thing.
Didn't even make it through the second sentence without cracking up.

I remember when AState fans were this naïve back in 2011.

We're we ever? Turning down a huge contract for the kids. People with kids move all the time for a higher paying job. Of course he could be like Hud. Something missing that these AD's don't like.

Might as well call 911 for me if this happens, I'll need every bottle of oxygen they've got.

It's funny to see how bad the GS and stAte fans want to see this happen.

Lord son, my comment was a joke. And you delusional App fans need to quit lying to yourselves. He will be gone if the right offer comes. They all go. It doesn't matter if his kid is an honor student and his wife is mayor. When they hang 7 figures in front of him he will grab the brass ring. Any coach would be stupid not to. Financial security for life would make anyone take the job. I only wish I had an opportunity like that.

There were people who thought that Hugh Freeze loved us so dearly he'd turn down Ole Miss to stay in Jonesboro. Those same newbies likely bought Ole Miss season tickets the next year...

Nah, just watching the denial is hilarious. If this follows as they usually do, you guys will win on Saturday and on Sunday the rumors of him to UNC will be red hot and on Monday about 5 o’clock he will be announced and on Tuesday about 5 o’clock he’ll be in Chapel Hill at his welcome press conference, family by his side.

This reminds me of my annual offseason posts that App will one day be good at basketball, eventually I'll be correct.

Didn’t Satt retain the services of one Jimmy Sexton this past off-season?

Yeah he gone.

RE: OT: UNC fires larry fedora
If he's not gone something ain't right. May be good news for App short term but long term with NC passing and Sat with a 20 year solid resume likely takes less to move up in the future and replacing him becomes more difficult given whatever gives. Come to the either of the two Boro's and you gone in 2 maybe 4 years if you're good. We've done it over and over and over. We're good.

I'm not naive like some. If Satt gets a UNC offer he's gone, and I can't blame him. Yeah it's a basketball school and yes the program has been in trouble over the years. But it's still in the ACC, in his home state, nice facilities, a historic school, etc. Oh and not to mention like a x5 increase in salary. He'd be crazy not to go.

We just have to hope they go for someone else. Apparently there could be something to the Mack Brown rumors.

You don't hire someone like that without going after bigger jobs. Sexton gets paid cause he gets his guys paid.

Not to say that this will happen, but it should be concerning to App fans.

It's a tough pill but you're wrong. You need to hope Sat gets the job with an amazing pay raise. Blows the doors off any previous salary for the job. You'll understand one day.

Even if Satt doesn't take a job, he's going to have his name linked with every job between App and the New England Patriots. That's how Jimmy Sexton rolls.

I'm assuming this Sexton dude is some kind of agent. Is he known for getting his coaches P5 gigs?
