Amazing game for the Dukes. Didn't see how we played, but statistically we did everything right. Defense needs some work, but we rebounded well, limited turnovers and made our free throws

Another good game for Wilson. Not quite but close to another double-double. Missed by a couple of rebounds.

Good comeback for the Dukes. Needed that to avoid a disappointing tournament.
Should win big tomorrow vs Oral

Maybe tomorrow we'll get some distance in the score and some other guys will work in. Better shooting today- I think the defensive let down is a little to be expected for a 2nd game in 2 days.

Lots of progress today over arguably the best team we have played this year

Lewis 5-8 and 4-7 from 3, only 1 to, 4 assts - great game, lets hope he is turning the corner

Banks 5-10, 17 pts. still 3 to's, but better than what he has been doing

Dukes with only 9 to's today. huge improvement

Wilson, another solid game, 11 pts, 7 rebs

Mosley appears to be our most consistent player and was again today with 17 points on 5-10 shooting

one step forward for the boys. we will have some set backs. anyone who thought we were going to go 12-2 or whatever in ooc play was crazy. this is a young, but talented team with a inexperienced coach learning on the job. we are going to have some stinkers. we just need to keep progressing and learning and be ready for caa play

spent all day driving on I95....it was like a parking lot. 8 hours later I m home. Missed both the football and basketball games but glad they both won. Big Big win for hoop team. need to get tomorrow and get to 6 n 2. with young teams winning games early in season is so important. GO DUKES

Just read the write up of the win today over NIU. The Good Guys finished the game on a 14-4 run to 1) catch up, 2) get the lead and then 3) hold on at the end with some key free throws. Great to see. We probably lose that game a season ago.

Also, one of the best-looking box scores I've seen in a long time. 4 guys in double figures (balanced scoring!)...18 assists to 9 TO's (would love to see more of that)...Dwight Wilson logging 35 minutes (says a lot about his continued strength and conditioning...I don't think he could've come anywhere near that many minutes a year ago...only 2 fouls too...even if he could've logged 35 minutes a year ago, he would've likely fouled out)...16 of 17 from the charity stripe (in the words of Dukester...WOW!)

Agree w/ everything you said on the boxscore. Question is for me....how did we only squeak by? I'm hoping it's because NIU turns out to be a decent team.

A good win, no doubt. A sparkling box score, which included 12 made three pointers. I saw improvement in the offense versus Oakland and they built on that obviously.

Looking forward to listening to todays game vs. Oral Roberts. I am so glad to see Dwight playing well. He can really give us something many teams in this league have had and we have not.....a consistently good big guy. I loved Yohanny Dalembert but he was so damn inconsistent.

When Develle comes back, keep him in a reserve roll.

JMU looking pretty pitiful today. Down double digits before the half to a poor ORU team. Hope the guys can make a comeback in the 2nd half to avoid a disappointing trip.

Down 31-20 at halftime. Dukes are completely gassed. Sad showing today. They were close for awhile, and then Oral Roberts has pulled away by a lot.
