is matthew"s game similar to jeremiah's? they're both under rated 3* coming out of the gate. and amazing how much martin's game has developed. he's 5*good now. one can only hope about murrell, if he commits.

Matthew would be the highest rated guard Penny would have signed if he signed tomorrow. I think he would be higher that Baugh.

24/7 has had him in between 80 -90 4 star prospect. Rivals has him 4 star but at 110.

I think he'll be a consensus top 50 after next season if he keeps this up. No way to keep him out of it.

I have really stopped looking at rivals and 24/7 other than a bit of general information. They drop and raise players based on their own agenda and even the composite is often skewed because of those 2 sites.

I just stick with ESPN. They don't always update the schools involved immediately. (I don't think any site does) but they are the most consistent of the big 3 sites.

I finally unsubbed from 24/7 when they dropped Dandridge several spots after he committed to us when ZERO basketball was being played. They put 3-4 players in the same position above him out of no where that were uncommitted.

It's all about $$$$$.

Murrell is a 4-star. He's ranked top 100. Jeremiah was a 3-star ranked outside the top 300. Their composite scores are nowhere close.

Yea, Murrell will probably continue to climb even higher after this summer. Wouldn’t shock me if he wound up top 50 ish. He’s not far out of the top 75 now...

He’s better than whatever his ranking is or likely will be. He is a big time basketball player.

Ya, no way I believe there are 75 or 80 high school players better than him. He checks just about every box you want for a guard. I would love to see him in a Tiger uniform one day!

Anyone have a read on what the scouts questions are on Murrell??

From what I've seen he is a good shooter, has a huge frame for a college guard (looks like he is bigger than 6' 2" already and probably still growing), elite athlete, great defender, at least average handle, and has played against top competition.

Sounds like the recipe for a consensus top-50 player - are there questions about whether he is a 1 or 2 in college or worries about his handle or something?
