And a lot of South Florida people derisively call Central Florida by the city they're nearest to (Oviedo).

Well, all I know is, Dale Earnhardt said no dice on the radio yesterday.

That same team beat the team which beat the playoff Champion Bama.

Even though they return most of their team this year. They are the only top 10 in the final poll last year which did not start in top 10 in preseason poll.

Even worst they did not start out in the top 20 in preseason poll.

They blew out the current ACC Coastal Division leader during their current 22 game winning streak.

If this was a P5 team they would be solidly in the playoffs.

Starting outside of the top 20 was a travesty to say the least.

However, if they were in a P5 then they most likely would not have been playing a schedule ranked in the 70s and a real possibility they would not be undefeated. I mean look at the teams in the top 4 in the Playoff rankings schedule strength, Alabama - 6, Clemson - 11, Notre Dame - 29*, Michigan - 9. Not saying they definitely would not be in the picture, who knows, but it would have been a much harder road for a team that clearly is not as dominating as last years team. JMO

Just curious...Where are you getting your SOS numbers? Sagarin has Bama #61, Clemson #49, Notre Dame #47, and Michigan #40. UCF is still worse in the 90's. But not the gap that you're seeing in your rankings.

My bad, I should have included that when I originally made that post. I guess its actually more of a ranking/rating for prediction purposes, in hindsight may not have been the best source for this specific discussion. What can I say, it was late. lol

I'm shocked Alabama had such a high SOS regardless of their FCS opponent.

One of the 'complainers' used to be an official even.

Not complaining - simply stating what I believe to be a factor based upon personal experience. I understand how important it is for some of Y'all to live in your "Rah-Rah" world - when no other aspect of your life operates under anything other that the "Follow the Money" mantra.

I understand it's important to you - just don't know why ... when there are so many obvious indicators. And, if you'll recall, if I'm the "complainer" (did officiate at the NCAA level), then one would think I'd be a terrible "Homer."

My last post prior to this one was how the refs offered up a hose job on the Yalies where they were here. See, if it's factual, it tends to cut both ways.

And if any here honestly believe the AAC is going to take a chance on missing an Access Bowl payout well ... I wish I still had your eyes for the game. Sadly, that was taken from me in a locker room over in Arkansas several years ago.

RE: Espn discussing UCF playoff chance
for giggles...

if bama wins out and ou and osu lose in the championship game chaos could happen.

I dont think the playoff committee would be able to place a 2 loss team in over ucf.

Sad thing is they would likely be embarrassed without Milton
