We are going to see just what kind of coach he really is. Without all that LSU talent, will his system be viable?

he was the coach at Oklahoma State before LSU...so we know he could coach once upon a time.
He has said he will implement more of a spread offense.
He will have to...the Big 12 is wide open, and they'd have him for lunch.

Yeah, no doubt there was a reason he was hired at LSU in the first place. Since then the game has changed but he remained the same. If he were not so conservative, it is possible he would still be at LSU. If he does change to more of a spread offense, he may have a chance.

Props to ditching his guaranteed buyout money to take possibly the worst P5 job there is.

I sort of liked the strange dude, and always thought Les was undervalued at LSU. We will see now. Tough gig.
