I thought the defense looked pretty good at times. The biggest weakness I saw was the inability to defend against the deep pass (again).

after that additional INT I'm revising my narrative: tonight's loss is on the D, and the O, and special teams (badly, badly shanked FG, poor punts, too)

Are you giving the coaches a free pass? 03-wink

And just how many points did the defense score tonight?

Will we have any serious offensive threat in the 2 minute offense?

ETA: Was it against UTEP that we wasted away the last minute or two with little apparent haste?

Is that his 3rd on the season? And I think he just missed one in another game.

That was a low percentage FG for everyone except a Hambone or Boswell. Fox had a couple of bad punts, but I don't think they significantly factored in the game. They are the one unit that I don't think has contributed to a loss all season.

Announcers said it was his 4th of the season.

He is a freshman. True freshman or redshirt freshman?

lol... Stankavage intercepted again (that's not the funny part) and the defender is intentionally tackled by his teammate, I presume to prevent a fumble on the return.

I guess it's all the same in the record books, whether the tackler is in white or red (and for LaTech, whether the guy with the ball is in red or white).

Once it was all said and done, Stank stunk just as bad as usual. I don't think he's the worst qb I've ever seen, like someone else said, but he is truly awful. Another wasted season. Can Marshman play next week?
