And he'll run for a fairly significant political office in 2020. If it's well more than 5 points in terms of a defeat, who knows. He'll probably stay in Texas somewhere. But I bet you it won't be in El Paso. His ambitions seem way bigger than El Paso.

If he wins, obviously he's in the Senate. And that alone will be the major talking point of the networks on November 6th.

As for the move, I guess instead of being the dude who tried to run away from a DUI and his mom was popped for money laundering, he will be the dude who tried to run away from a DUI and his mom was popped for money laundering *and* had to move to another place to fulfill his Hispanic destiny.

As of 4:30, 60 thousand early voters have cast ballots in Harris County, smashing the old record of 26K for a midterm election. It's also more than there were in 2012 (47K). I can't find the 2016 total for early voting yet.

Early voting is dumb. People know for months when voting day is and can make the necessary accommodations.
