As bad as our defense is at times it's far from being the worst. Defensive line has been a big issue all year due in part to injuries. Our D-line isn't all that big either and tends to get pushed back a lot. Because we don't get much of a pass rush our secondary which isn't all that good gets exposed. Our secondary in particular has terrible technique a lot of times and is often out of position. I would probably blitz more. Secondary gets beat so much anyway so what difference would it make if we get beat long on a blitz.

Our defensive talent level also seems to drop off quickly as we go to the bench.

This is the defense I figured would show up against UCF too ... the same one that made S Alabama and UConn QBs look like Heisman candidates. Not sure what happened to keep this from happening so much vs. UCF (home game, UCF overrated, whatever), but this defense is seriously awful. To the OP, one of the worst.

Mackenzie milton had a really bad game against us. He didn't look like his normal self. He took a massive hit in the smu game before us, and i think he was not 100% when he played us.

Then he took that big hit while scoring a td on us. Reports are he has a tweaked ankle.

He sat out in last night's victory over ecu.

And next year's tiger defense could be worse. Let that sink in.

FYI Missouri’s pass defense was ranked 127 out of 130 teams coming into game. We do a decent job vs the run unless we are on the field all day. I thought their pass D much better than ours despite the ranking.

How many starters are we truly down? Sometimes I hear 4, then 2.

I maintain that we are cursed because of wolo. You simply cannot inflict that on the "football universe" without retribution.

Of course, it could be truthfully said we are doubly cursed, cursed with wolo and then cursed because of wolo.

Maybe we should burn a shoe at the 55 yard line. And put wrong names on the players' jerseys.

Now we are getting around to something to actually complain about. The worst radio play by play team in all of college sports...no matter the level.
