You want to toss some of those facts I'll be glad to consider them.
And when you toss in additional issues that fundamentally contradict your original position I will be more than ready to point that out. And, yes, I am *not* being nice in the way that I am doing it. You certainly failed to do so with your grandiose statements about being 'asinine', failing to use one's education, *and* the tone that underlies your 'futile' comment above. Given that, I dont feel the need to pull many 'nicety' punches, tbh.

Still doesnt make your first statement of 'golly gee wilikers Smiley O'Rourke has done *quite* a bit, here is the Congressional record' (followed by a 'you imbeciles-type statement) really fit with the second 'well Cmon Gomer, the *reason* he hasn't done **** is because its a Republican Congress' (followed by a you imbecile statement).
And its not really a different question. The interviewer at A&M is asking a completely unfair question : the only answer *anybody* can give about Smiley O'Rourkes accomplishments is the one highlighted in the video. Simply because he has as close to zero accomplishments as one can get as a US Representative as one could possibly achieve, which was my comment. They are very much intertwined and related.
And no, I am not going to follow your path and tag on a snark comment about an inability to search or a jab at a lack of education where you dont see that connection.
As Owl#s stated, if Smiley ORourke was the 'bipartisan cyclotron' that he self-expresses (or exhibited the same energy in bipartisan passage of bills that he exhibits in tooting his own horn about it, for that matter), he could show the ability to be effective (far more than 27 'me too, teacher', and the amazing bit of courthouse renaming skill he has shown) within an adversely controlled House. But Smiley really hasnt, has he? But he *has* apparently become a awesome mover and shaker on 'raising his hand' to name Post Offices and Highways.
FortBend, if *you* like Smiley, then by all means support him. You are free to support whomever and whatever you want politically.
And the next time you snarkily opine on someone else's 'asininity' or 'lack of a use of education', I would suggest that *you* do your homework just a tad better. I've already retorted about that in an equally snarky way, so I'll pass on saying anything more on that.
