RE: WBB Website
I'm thinking we might see more than a bit of Marciszewski, especially in some games that don't matter a lot. And here's another question--who's the heir presumptive to Logan? Tori Harris? Because I thought she was a 2, although she played some of both. If it's not her or Benitez, then Maddie Green is going to have to hurry up, because she's the only other true PG there is.

It was bad enough when they changed it all around so you couldn't get full stats, but now here we are less than 3 weeks out from the first game of the season and they STILL don't have the pics of the new players up! Literally every other team I follow, even the sorriest ones (looking at YOU, Loyola!) has theirs up, but JMU is still dragging.....these folks are bloody hopeless! SAD.

I’m sure the WBB will have a fine season, however, this team lacks a true “big”...a 6’3”+ post player. This may be the smallest WBB roster in 15 years (or more).

Three players listed at 6'2" and Kayla Cooper-Williams is a good post defender. Maybe the thinking is that will be enough?

Pretty sure our Canadian freshman is 6'8" when she puts her hair up.

:>)

(I'm just jealous I admit)

I suppose as fans we will see if it will be good enough, however, if the lack of a big is coupled to our poor outside shooting from last year, JMU may have some struggles.

RE: WBB Website
A lot of girls play bigger than they are, if you know what I mean. I've seen that for years. I've seen that in Aneah Young, particularly last year. So I wouldn't get too alarmed about not having a "true big". One thing about those big girls is that they tend to take awhile to develop. I remember Geno Auriemma saying about one of his best ones that she was "pretty near useless" her first two years. And I sure saw enough of that during my many years at Tennessee.

BTW, loved the comment about the Canadian freshman LOL
