It is amazes me just how good the NIU defense has been. Sutton Smith has an incredible ability to make key plays in key situation. Statistically, he is off the charts. This site herosports.com allows you to compare any player vs another player. Few DEs come close to his #s. Scary to think where NIU would be without this kicka$$ D.

Yea it’s crazy how good he is. Pisses me off when I see these mid season all America teams and he’s not on them again.

Iowa - #19 and Utah receiving votes this week as well. Utah was 1 clumsy fumble on a pick-6 away from beating Washington too.
