NIU, 109 yards in penalties, Ohio 46 yards rushing. That's funny.

HUGE FN win boys!!! Great football game. Just got back to La Grange from Dekalb. what a great day at the stadium, beautiful fall weather (kinda chilly but manageable) and an awesome football game that saw us get down late and mount a great comeback to remain undefeated in conference. What a sweet victory! 4-0 ... enjoy Huskies fans! Lets rest up and get healthy for BYU now.

Go Huskies...

I know our guys were shocked that Childers threw two good deep balls but they have to make those catches. There’s just no excuse. High school receivers could have easily made those receptions. Hope we can finish those plays consistently in the future.

Childers might be figuring things out, I think the EMU game was the beginning of his break through.

He might be figuring things out. Or we were just playing a team with a not very good defense. And were again held to 24 points. He did throw the deep balls better. He wasn't getting those running lanes against the better defenses we've played.

RE: Ohio @ NIU Homecoming Game Thread
Ohio was playing Harbs and Jones, not Childers. As soon as Childers dropped back Ohio vacated the middle into pass coverage leaving those lanes for Childers — off tackle in Harbison personnel and the middle in Jones personnel. We should’ve exposed it more but it was enough. The intermediate passes to the middle should be wide open against BYU since the LBs will be staying home to keep an eye on Childers. Hope Childers will be able to consistently make those throws.

The play to Scharping was a copy cat play that Wisconsin ran last year.

Good. They need to use some other plays that work.
