NC State is 4-0 all time against Marshall. Both teams bring 2-0 records to the field, with last week off due to Hurricane Florence. This is NC State’s first road game of the year.

Last year, Marshall let an early 20-10 lead slip away. NC State would go on to score 27 consecutive points in the win.

For Marshall, Freshman QB Isaiah Green takes the field in only his third start. NC State return Senior QB Ryan Finley and it’s skill players on O. So things look to tilt in the Wolfpacks favor on paper.

Current forecast shows cloudy skies, a smattering of light rain before kickoff.

After our first scoreless quarter of the year, we post an 82 yard TD our the second play of the next quarter.

They are owning our d-line thus far.

But our secondary is administering proper punishment to any receiver coming across the middle...

Marshall didn't play bad, Ryan Finley is just the real deal. He quite possibly might be the 1st QB taken in the 2019 NFL draft. They done an excellent job in bracketing Brady, something they didn't do last year.

They Jaquan Yulee hit was an absolutely "Whollop", and to beat it, the hit was legal. Usually when you see a hit and a ball pop out like that the play is illegal and now a targeting call.

Isaiah Green was 22-43 for 270 yards a TD and 2 INTs. On the year Green has thrown for 820 yards 6 TD and 3 INTs, although his 1st INT wasn't his fault at all. I still think he is going to be special.

NC State lost their entire defensive front last year but just reloaded. I say this will be the best front 5 we see this year.
