Rain ALL GAME. A major drag on the fans. Coming back out of the second half, it looked like more people stayed at the tailgates.
NC State was definitely the more prepared, well coached, talented team. We just couldn't get anything going.
Most concerning, our defense. Haven't checked the stats, but being there live felt like our safeties blew many plays, and the corners couldn't cover.

About 50% of Finley's passes no other QB will attempt those throws. He did leave a few of his WRs to hang out to dry on a few plays. Thomas the WR that probably has a separated shoulder should have never been thrown the ball. There was no way he was coming out of that clean. There was a safety under and a corner over and if thrown to he was going to be and was absolutely blasted up and over from both sides.
I liked most of the adjustments after the 1st half. The only thing I wanted to see that I haven't since the Miami OH game and that is getting King or Davis on the edge as a speed sweep. The last 2 games the run has been right up the middle for the most part.

Not happy about the effort at all. Year 3 and Chris Jackson still can't cover anybody. They have a very good QB, but a lot of those throws were to wide open receivers. We got destroyed on both lines.
