To get us back on track on this, from I can find on http://www.collegefootballreference.com :
https://www.sports-reference.com/cfb/sch...iving.html
J.J. had one game with 10 catches.
Roddy had 2 games with 10 catches.
Forrest had one game with 11 catches.
Jackie Williams had one game with 10 catches.
Willie Quinnie had one game with 12 catches.
Rashad Slaughter had one game with 10 receptions.
Pat Shed had one game with 11 receptions.
And now Collin Lisa has one game with 10.
God, I totally forgot about Jackie Williams! It probably worked out for the best for him, given the results McGoof delivered.

And I can see Erdely starting all season. Or him hitting the bench. I like him, but I think we have seen him hit his ceiling. The only question is, do we have someone with a higher ceiling on the bench. One way or another, this offense needs to open up. Do what you have to do to make it happen. More love for the TEs and less of the QB jawing with the other team. Everyone should stop talking to the other team.
If this game wasn't his, and everyone else's ceiling, then our expectations are unrealistic.

21 of 22 for 197 yards & 3 TDs. Total Passer Efficiency Rating of 221.2.
Lol
Didn't break 200 yard mark,
Erdely probably has only thrown over 300 yards once in his UAB career. Lol
I want the 2014 QBs back. And that offense. It seems to still be missing in action.
This next game should be the lineup game. I have zero fear of our backups getting the call up. I haven't done any analysis, but has the pass blocking improved? If not, maybe we can have a pass blocking line and make changes at odd times to confuse the defense. On D, I saw a guy who appeared to be spying the QB and fail miserably. Do we sub 1A for 1B to put more speed on the field? I expect we will see some changes soon. May depend on how the game goes.
I don't know, wouldve like to see some competition up til the bye week myself

Nah, and he should be focused on Tulane.
It's obvious there wasn't much competition.

I remember similar criticisms of Cody Clements. This offense does not have Jordan Howard, JJ Nelson, Gerald Everett or Jamari Staples.

Fellas, what we are seeing is an offense (coaches and players) learning a new system after spending two years learning a different system. The offense will only get better as the year goes on.
I hope, anyway.

The receivers had a good game on Saturday. Multiple athletic catches in coverage and not any drops that I can recall.
