There will be a lot of App “fans” but about 12K-13K of tickets are allocated for Charlotte season ticket holders and students.

How many of those have already or are currently selling those tickets on Vivid Seats or StubHub right now? Current average ticket price is around $130.

Well, students cant sell their tickets. There havent been many games fornthr casual 49er fan to get excited about so I doubt many will or have sold their seats.

App will have a large crowd no doubt but it'll be 30-35% at most.

If the game goes how I anticipate, youll have a majority in the 2nd half.

I'm not so sure this is the blowout many are expecting. I'll go with 41-34 App.

UNCC scores 34 on this defense?

I saw athletic ability at QB and WR Saturday I haven't seen in nearly a decade at App.

I know anything can happen in CFB, but no one that has watched these two teams play would pick UNCC to cover if the consequence of being wrong was meaningful.

Lambert isn't going anywhere losing to a team that should be a two touchdown plus favorite. Now if he loses to ODU badly - you may have a point.

Lambert should have been fired last year and Judy Rose isn't the AD anymore.

I really wanted that pillar of the UNCC community to stay as AD. Judy has done things the right way which is her way from day one. Judy should have been allowed to pick when she wanted to leave the program, and not harassed by a vocal minority to leave. Retaining Lambert as coach was part of the process, and our fans just need to understand building a program takes time.

An App fan posed as a UNCC fan name Grady Davis which somehow fooled the UNCC administration.

I'm sure others have more details than I on this matter.

Saturday is 100% a trap game. This is UNCC’s Super Bowl. They will play harder in this game than they ever have. I still think there’s a significant disparity in talent and especially coaching which will prevail in the end. I’ll say 30-13

This is NOT a trap game. This is 100 percent a game that illustrates why we have the reputation for playing with a chip on our shoulder. Too many insults have been hurled from Harrisburg to Boone by folks who carry more weight than message board fans over the last six, or so years. If we don’t have total focus on Saturday, it’s the fault of everyone from the Chancellor, to athletics director, to coaches, to players, to the guy who cleans the locker room after the game.

I agree with you VA, not a trap game. This is a game about respect, not for gaining any but teaching UNCC some. I know Coach Satt is pretty classy about not running the score up if it comes to it, but if he has a chance I think he understands what the vast majority of the fanbase want to see happen.

Long Story in Short Version:

Enterprising App fan sends UNCC Athletic Department an email under the pseudonym of Grady Davis, and claims to be an alum. Email praises their highly disliked and embattled AD. Nothing was thought of it for 2 months until a local paper requested negative and positive feedback on their AD from the school, and the Davis email was selected and briefly posted on the Charlotte Observer website, before it mysteriously vanished when the paper got cold feet when they couldn't verify it was real.

Charlotte's message board ended up doing an FOI request, and found hundreds of documents out of the administration related to this one email, which had been shared back and forth between the higher ups there dozens of times, and included an exhaustive search to find the identify of the writer, only for the school to find someone with a similar name on an alum registry, and stopped the search there. Eventually, someone discovered that a post on Yosef's cabin listed the exact emails for all the Charlotte higher ups (Including critically two incorrect listings that were in the original email as well) and suggested sending a fake letter gushing with praise to mess with them. Three days after that post, the email was sent. The Blowback from the 49er fan base was already bad, but this incident only made it worse, and eventually the AD was out of a job, and App fans like to claim some credit.

No one really knows which App fan sent the letter, but it's going to be referenced constantly this week. There's sort of a sneaky belief that the App fan base probably knows who did it, but isn't sharing all their secrets.

Also of note, people seem to believe Charlotte's win over Fordham was solid. Fordham, with one of the Edmund's brothers, wouldve been considered a good win for them. However, he now plays for the Arizona Cardinals.
