“There would definitely be support for a wholesale policy revoking their clearances,” he added.

I could see where security clearance is retained by some individuals if they are still consulting with the agencies or the White House specifically. That kind of makes sense.

I do think one you become a public figure, that immediately compromises you to some degree and you no longer have complete impartiality. Then you should lose your clearance.

Then the majority are worthless too. You always run into situations where questions are worded in obscure ways to generate the desired response as well as over/undersampling groups to aid in the desired outcome. There are no unbiased polls. Normal protocol is to defer to those who are paying you for your work. That's what happens with these polls.
