CBS uses FUbo.TV, but it costs I think $10 a month maybe?

So ESPN has their app, FS1 has their app, CBSSports has an app but you have to pay 10 dollars MORE on top of whatever sub you have w/ your tv provider. That's stupid.

Yup, Which is why I will probably never cut the cord. Everybody is using a different service and instead of one big bill each month you wind up having 10 "Little" bills each month.

If you have someone's DirecTV or cable login you can sign in and watch CBS Sports Network on the CBS Sports app on smart devices. Then cast on to a TV.

Think I'm gonna just keep my Direct TV for now. I do think CUSA should be a whole lot more pro-active about getting us on traditional airwaves. And alternatively, educating all of us CUSA fans about the availability and use of these hi-tech vehicles to see our games. We Got To Grow The Base. I bet lesss than 1% of 1% even know what Firestick is.

What's the name of the app? When searching 'CBS Sports' in the app store, all I can find is CBS Sports App Scores and Stats & CBS Full Episodes and Live TV? Which one let's you stream cbssports fb games?

It's the CBS Scores and Stats. Then go to the menu and scroll all the way down until you see CBS Sports Network. Click it and it will prompt you to put in your cable or satellite info.

RE: Is there a CBSSports app for firestick?
^Thanks MU

I don't know why the mobile device app has to be so ambiguous about it. That should be listed in the main description of the app title and shown right when you open the app on your phone.

Also, why the hell isn't there the same exact app but for the firestick?? Like, just like the ESPN/FS1/NFL Network app for firestick. They've got an app called the CBS Sports HQ - LIVE 24/7....but it doesn't let you stream the CBS Sports channel. I mean, wth???? That should be the whole point of wanting a CBS Sports app...so you can actually stream the darn channel. Makes no sense.

Yeah, the CBS Sports app on Roku used to have CBSSN on there but they rebranded it as CBSHQ and now CBSSN is gone. I have to cast it from my phone to the chromecast in the TV now.

I like CBSHQ but I don't get why they dropped the CBSSN login option.

RE: Is there a CBSSports app for firestick?
I'm kinda new to the iphone. I've always had an android device and all I had to do was enable screen mirroring on my samsung/HTC phone and tv and poof, it's showing my phone on my TV and I didn't have to buy anything extra. Can I still do this with an apple phone without having to spend MORE money for something that smart tv technology already easily allows for with smart phones?

Google chromecast is about $40 and you can cast a lot of apps to it (ESPN, CBSSN, Fox Sports Live, YouTube) but some apps don't cast. The Stadium and CUSA.TV apps for instance. And you can't do screen mirroring with an iPhone to the chromecast because it's an Apple/Google issue.

I use an old Samsung S5 to screen mirror to watch CUSA.TV on the big screen.

I prefer casting to the chromecast over Roku. I can't even tell I'm streaming when I cast it's so clear. Roku has issues pixelating with the ESPN app.

So you can't simply screen mirror iphones to smart tvs like you could with android devices? Until recently, I had an HTC phone, turned on screen mirroring on my phone and samsung smart tv, whatever I streamed on my phone would be on the tv, great quality too. How in the world is this tech not possible anymore?

I'm not sure. Apple tends to not play well with anything not Apple.

My LGTV is about 7 years old and I can't mirror my iPhone to it.
