So there's just one CAA team left in the playoffs? What a shame that JMU crashed out so early after all their whining.

Aww, poor JMU lost. What a shame. But...but...they deserved the ab over Maine.

May have missed it elsewhere: multiple reports that ECU wants coach Houston.

You missed it, Tribal.

Latest rumor has it that Houston is staying.

That rumor came from a post game interview, but no one can produce said interview.

Not sure if it's this one that was on JMU board:

So, it looks like Charlotte told him to commit now or we'll pull our offer.

Anyone want to bet? I say he's out of Harrisonburg by January.

That presser isn’t exactly convincing of a guy who is going to stay and if you’re JMU, is it weird to wonder if you want him around after this, I mean, I know he is a great coach but doesn’t feel like he will be there much longer whether it’s this year or the next or whatnot ...

Or the coach cashed out so early. These transitions happen every year. Seems like there would be a protocol that protects the team from a social media enabled circus.

Houston's gone to ECU. So much for him never leaving.

Well, it's where his family is and, consequently, is where he has wanted to be. Will be interesting to see how quickly JMU acts on his replacement, and whether Houston pulls any JMU commits with him to ECU, or, if we can flip a few.

Don't assume every coach in the land wants to go to Harrisonburg. I'll be interested to see how this plays out.

Uhhh, Greenville NC is 10 minutes closer to his family in Franklin than Harrisonburg. Lol. That was his excuse when he was listening to Charlotte. Doesn’t work anymore.

RE: FCS GAMEDAY
Going to be interesting to see what Houston can do at ECU. Winning with other coach’s recruits is going to be hard to go in Greenville. Montgomery’s classes have been underwhelming. And his other go to of taking fbs transfers (immediately eligible in fcs) is not an option at ecu as they will have to sit a year.

RE: FCS GAMEDAY
This shows you exactly how JMU stacks up against BCS teams in terms of program. Many JMU fans would have us believe that JMU is a better spot than somewhere like ECU. We'll see if the next coach is a savior or using JMU as a stepping stone.
