While the comment sounds incredible, I have absolutely no problem believing the assertion. Which is just one of many reasons I have never, ever, even thought for a single second about posting on Bookface.

most of that info on a drivers license is a holdover from the old days before picture driver licenses. my first drivers license was just a green piece of paper that looked like someone printed it on a mimeograph machine. i became a master forger during those days so we could buy beer out in county. i could have been a 8 foot tall, 92lb, 125 year old black woman in about 15 minutes for a six pack 03-lmfao

I looked so old when I was a freshman in high school that the seniors let me double date with them so I would go in and buy the beer. I didn't need the pink sheet of paper that a DL was printed on back then. That's what happens when you grow almost 7 inches in a year and you were the only kid on your little league team that had grown a mustache (started shaving at 10).

If you bought the beer out in the county where I lived you didn't even need a car. I have bought beer after peddling up to the store on my bicycle. It was truly a different time!

grew 6" over a summer......that was serious medieval pain.....

Hells bells, you would have thought I had given birth. I still have the stretch marks. The worst part of it was all of the awkward that followed.

from 5'-4" to 6'-0' at 14 in 5 mos.......from 125 to 135 lbs during that period eating 10k cals/day.......it was a screaming nightmare......

that's when you truly learn how to deal with pain......pneumonia three years was a speck on the map in relative terms.....and I crawled into the ER and punctured my lung within an hour......

like I said, I can be that ************......

life is one helluva game playing the sado/maso card.....

Yep, I know the pain. I shot up from 5'5.5" to 6'0.5" between the 5th and 6th grade. Odd, but I had pneumonia twice. One bacterial and one viral. But I don't think I ever met a measles variety I didn't catch. Thank God I missed the mumps, but the even though they say there is no such thing as immunity to the mumps no male in my direct lineage for family for 4 generations has had them. My grandfather's brother was as close as we've come.

I was coordinated and batting well in the 5th grade. I couldn't hit a rug with a broom in the 6th. I was fine again by the 7th.

Sorry for you troubles truly. Keeping a running case of pneumonia would have been hell! Folks don't realize how painful and potentially deadly it is until they break a rib while coughing and can't catch their wind.
