MT 67-59. 0.532
UT 62-63 0.496
UM 55-70. 0.440
VU 53-73. 0.421

The last 10 years mtsu has 100% has the weakest schedule out of the four.

My high school probably has a 90-40 record the last 10 years but does that mean they’re better than all four? No.

I know. You guys were on our schedule for many of those years. Dragging it down...

You guys need to seriously get back to the kid's table with that crap. Memphis is, these days, roughly 3 touchdowns better than Middle State. Deal with it.

Memphis fans I know pull for MTSU. There is no rivalry and its never been advantageous or cultivated for there to ne one. Memphis, Middle and ETSU were always battling the evil orange Empire for resources. Y all just have a few fans that wander in here every so often to get their chains yanked. It's all good

I've always kind of liked MTSU. They aren't the arrogant state buttchugger school or the spoiled rich kid university. They pose zero threat to our recruiting base, so I don't see what the big deal is about playing them every so often.

Who really wants to play UTSA or Georgia State (no offense panama) vs an in-state C-USA school?

I agree. My daughter graduated from MTSU last year and the campus improvements during her time there were very impressive. I would have absolutely no problem playing MTSU and Southern Miss over these crap sunbelt teams we're playing now.04-cheers04-cheers
On a side note there's a ton of Memphis students that go to MTSU and I've rarely heard anyone in Memphis say a bad thing about them

If MTSU is smart they will give it a few years. They want no part of us right now. Just sayin.

Mmmmm, facts. I can already hear, but who did you play? First off our conference and..

Wins over: Ga Tech, Maryland (x2), Missouri, Syracuse, Vandy x2.....and here's the big one..MEMPHIS (x5)....

But yall are enjoying a nice season right now, just dont act like our VERY recent history isnt 5-2 MT over UM. Only reason I'm here.

Dude.... 01-wingedeagle We are 1-0 against Southern Cal, and 2-1 over Auburn. Are you saying we should go over to their respective boards and get up in their grills about it? No. No one thinks we are on their levels just yet as a program.

Know your place. Go occupy it.

Memphis has had home-home series with P5s like Ole Miss, UCLA, Kansas (we beat each of them) the past few season...plus we have home-home series with Missouri and Miss State coming up...we don't judge ourselves by ow we played against MTSU under Tommy West and Larry Porter.

Everybody beat us for about 5 or 6 years. We were near the bottom in FBS. Hell, UT Martin beat us. It's nothing to brag about.

UM 4 ranked wins in the last 3 years > MT 0 ranked wins ever
UM 10 bowl games > MT 7
UM 4 bowl wins > MT 2
UM 3 All Americans > MT 0
UM 112 NFL draft picks > MT 29
UM 4 First round > MT 0
UM 15 weeks ranked > MT 0

And what you should really consider while reading these stats is MT has had a superior football program for years.. us surpassing you is recent.. and we still have tons of stats over you guys already..

Just give us 5-10 more years with this momentum..

Mmmmm, facts.

Excellent Suggestion.

MTSU has had some good teams these past 5-6 season...both programs have big fan bases in Nashville and it gives the Jackson Tiger fans an easy game to dive to.

say 1 game in Nashville every 3 years would keep the series 'fresh'

No one goes to MTSU games. The last time we played in the Boro, Memphis brought a lot of fans but MTSU crowd was ok. In fact I think it broke a attendance record of like 21,000.

I’d like to play them. They have had a good team, but not at Nissan Stadium.

Actual attendance was 23,992 in 2013. Final Score 17-15. And, butts in seats shoulda been much higher. Frankly, hope both Memphis and MT win their conference championships this year. Nothing anybody says alters the fact that their is a rivalry and it should continue.

Agreed, but I will forever laugh that Memphis beat Kansas 43-7 in 2016, then Kansas went out and beat Texas.

It was my fault for posting on this thread that one of the benefits of Tiger success is MTSU fans not yapping on the Tiger Forum. I was wrong about the yapping but right about the Forum. My apologies to the Memphis P6 peers for the unintended triggering causing clutter here.

Texas was trash that year...we could have beaten them. But they are Texas so they are given undeserved hype every year!!
